Short version: we only see what you choose to send us, and we only use it to plan and run your trip.
Wild Ceylon Tours ("Wild Ceylon", "we", "us") is responsible for the details you send us. Our address is New Town Road, Udawalawe, Sabaragamuwa 70190, Sri Lanka.
What we collect
- Your trip plan. When you tap "Send on WhatsApp" or "Email instead", your phone opens a message with your trip details. We receive it only if you send it.
- Your contact details. Your WhatsApp number or email address, and anything you add, such as your name, hotel or flight number.
- Nothing else from the planner. The planner runs in your browser. It remembers your last plan on your own device (in your browser's local storage) so you can pick up where you left off. That never leaves your device unless you send it.
How we use it
To reply to you, confirm your booking, arrange your driver and jeep, and contact you about your trip. We don't sell your details or use them for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the people who run your trip, such as your driver and safari jeep driver, and only what they need (for example your name, pickup place and time).
How long we keep it
We keep booking messages for up to 2 years for our records and accounts, then delete them. Ask us any time to delete your details sooner.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
WhatsApp and email
Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email are also handled by those services under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
